“Absolutely loved staying here!”
Absolutely loved staying here! The suites overlooked the ski mountain and were quite large, with a couch, small kitchen, dining area, and washer dryer. This made our long stay so much more comfortable. We also loved the location, as it was a very short walk to the lifts, but also walkable to town (about a mile) and other restaurants in the area. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with any travel accommodations I needed while staying in the area.

“A sleek, modern stay”
Fenix West in Furano excels in delivering a sleek, modern stay. The rooms are newly built, spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it feel more like a luxury apartment than a standard hotel. Guests consistently highlight features such as full-size kitchens, washer/dryer machines, large TVs and balconies. The tech and convenience are notable: free WiFi, modern décor, well-equipped bathrooms, and the kind of in-room amenities (espresso machine, full refrigerator, kitchen utensils) that support longer stays.

“Could imagine staying here for a while”
Nice modern decor which came with free parking. Could imagine staying here for a while since it was such a comfortable stay and came with common work spaces. Great service from Nakajima san! We had some problems with the laundry’s washer and needed to call and trouble her after the front desk was closed. She was so willing to help us despite being off duty. Ms Fu speaks multiple languages and has a good memory. We requested for several items at the front desk and she did not left out anything ! We expected there might be some missing items since this is what we often experienced in other hotels. Thank you ladies! It would be wonderful if there are vending machines to sell drinks and food like sandwiches or simple meals. There is a convenience store about 200 metres down the slope but nothing beats the convenience of vending machines without the need to step out of the hotel!

“It was brilliant.”
Came in summer to use it as a base for exploring Furano and it was brilliant. Massive rooms with a kitchen and good heating/cooling. Convenient location and free parking. Staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations for the area.

“Looking forward to coming back”
Very nice room - spacious, clean, fully equipped with kitchenware and laundry. Every staff I met was super friendly and helpful - making restaurant reservations, recommending local festival timings, even advising on must-arrival produce for our next stop to Shiraoi. Already looking forward to coming back or staying at other Nisade properties.

“Calm and Comfortable getaway”
We stayed at Fenix West in a 3-bedroom unit as a family of five and had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The area is quiet and a bit removed from the hustle and bustle, which we appreciated. There isn’t much around, but there is a Lawson about 700 meters downhill for basic needs. Special mention to Dorothy at the front desk—she was fantastic! Always smiling, very approachable, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She gave us great recommendations for dining and assisted with reservations and arranging transportation. Her warm and accommodating service really made a difference. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a calm and comfortable getaway
One thing to note if you’re visiting in summer: the sun rises as early as 4 a.m., and the dining room window doesn’t have a full blackout curtain. One of the bedrooms faces the sun directly, so it got quite bright early in the morning. It didn’t ruin our stay, but light sleepers might want to bring an eye mask or ask about curtain options.
